2011 Champs...hoping for another win this year!
Student Council members proudly display the Spirit Award from last year.
Skittle Pie
Students prepare to find skittles in their whip cream pies!
Student Council has expectations!
There were great expectations for a loud crowd...if not, the "Honey Child, Please" poster was coming out!
Drumline
The band easily pumps up the crowd with their great energy and enthusiasm.
As the crowd leaves...
With lots of animals and music, the crowd exits the gym after a fun-filled pep assembly.
Student Crowd
The student crowd goes crazy as ABC 12 shows up to pump up the crowd.
Can Drive Court Competition
The Can Drive Court (Ms. Walker, Mr. Burdette, Mrs. Voss, Mrs. Lounds, Mr. Clevenger, Mrs. Brown, Mr. Dorman - not all pictured) participated in a bubble blowing competition.
Competitive Cheer
The girls wait for their turn in the spotlight.
Baby Food Guessing!
The sports captains get blindfolded so they can't see the baby food they are going to have to distinguish.
And the game begins...
Oh yea, they don't get to use their hands either!
Our adorable elves!
They look so eager to perform! Who knew they would look so nice in this gear?
The elves lip synced "All I Want for Christmas" by Mariah Carey.
It was serious business as our OHS and OMS administrators put on a beautiful display of spirit!
NO SHAVE NOVEMBER
Pay $5 to join the competition....and attempt to win $50 for not shaving for a month!
Want to be a part of our next assembly? Check out the fun we have at OHS!
Admire this pictures from our Homecoming Assembly!
OHS knows how to put on a good assembly! Join us at the ABC 12 Pep Assembly!
Bring cans! Bring cash! Bring courage!
Shaving Cream Hairstyles!!
Students work on their style during the Shaving Cream Hairstyles.
They're unsuspecting...they're eager...they're excited...it's a caramel "apple".
The before...caramel apple...yummy!
Tom Pokorny actually looks a little excited about the caramel treat...as does Mr. Gillett.
Caramel "apple" competition...oh wait, did I say apple? I meant to say onion!
These guys were unpleasantly surprised with the treat underneath all that caramel and heath crunch topping.
Ah!!! Onion. I don't like onion, not even with caramel and heath topping!
Yes, that is laughter as Mr. Dorman eats his caramel onion...I think he may have actually enjoyed it!
Grapefruit! What? I have to eat a whole grapefruit...
The Mr. Wonderful contestants chow on a delicious, yet tart piece of fruit.
Gummy fish? I want to play!
Mr. Hughes catches his fish and enjoys the treat.
He seems a little unsure about the fish, but hopefully he realized what a tasty delight a gummy fish can be...especially after the "apple" confusion.
The exchange students experience the craziness of an OHS pep assembly!
You're such a brown-noser!
Students are surprised to find that they must pass chocoloate frosting from...NOSE to NOSE!
Eddie O'Flynns graciously donated hot wings for our eating competition! Go enjoy some yourselves on Wing Night - every Thursday.
Staff and students dive in for the hot mess of deliciousness!
Ooh! Hot hands!
Mrs. Collins loves a spicy treat!
Some football players come to cheer on their teammate during the eating competition.
Ian Johnson plowed through hot wings as quickly as he could.
Mmmm...did somebody say wings?
Andrew Pipe, light blue t-shirt, wins the eating competition!
The Homecoming Court prepares to receive many kisses.
Blake VanStrate serenades the court members in order to earn a kiss from each court member.
High heels? Really, of all the people to have to walk in heels, Matt Thorton is the lucky guy.
In order to earn his kiss, Matt had to walk across the gym in some 3 inch heels. He was a success!
I can eat that piece of pizza. Oh, it's covered with chicken, peppers, mushrooms, and more...oh, okay.
Show your school spirit for a kiss!
Ian Johnson gets decked out in blue and gold in order to earn his kiss.
So, I am supposed to find a piece of gum in this flour...really? Oh, and then I get to blow it up and make a bubble!
Mrs. Perkins and Ms. Schneider are good sports as they search for the gum.
And, they dive right in with hopes of finding their gum quickly.
It's slurpee time!
Students always enjoy a chance for a free slurpee.
Wow! That's cold, but it's so tasty!
The famous slurpee suck!
Mrs. Grills and Mrs. Schiller give their best efforts in finishing their freezing cold slurpee.
Hey! Check this out.
Students start checking out their diapers using only sight to start.
Yes, that's a "dirty" diaper.
In order to figure out what kind of candy bar was inside, competitors had to use all of their senses...including taste.
The Trojan mascot impresses us with his groovy dance moves.
Yes, that's a cow...in our gym. Thanks Reed family!
Marc Reed brought in a cow to help earn money for the Can Drive. Teachers, including the "winner" Mr. Barter, tried to raise money in order to avoid kissing the cow. With a whole lot of help from Mrs. Lounds, Mr. Barter had the chance to kiss the cow!
Mr. Barter prepares for his kiss.
Though he was a bit nervous about his first time kissing a cow, he was a good sport and entertained the crowd!
Homecoming court member didn't want Mr. Barter to have to kiss the cow alone.
Morgan Palmer wants to make sure to leave her mark on the cow.
The cow has been kissed!
The junior class fights hard during the tug-of-war.
Tug-of-war
The crowd gets excited to be on camera!
